Influence of Distribution Modulus on the Compressive Strength of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete with Coarse Aggregate (UHPC-CA)

The Modified Andreasen and Andersen model (MAA model) is commonly chosen to realize condensed particle packing in ultra-high-performance concretes (UHPCs). In the MAA model, q (distribution modulus) a parameter that plays critical role UHPC matrix design. objective of this study figure out influence id="M2"> for compressive strength UHPC-containing coarse aggregate (UHPC-CA). Therefore, series investigations were conducted, covering following aspects: first, traditional design procedure, based on UHPC-CA revised by taking water steel fibers into account system. results show process yielded more excellent products with better workability strength. Second, different id="M3"> values which are 0.2, 0.21, 0.22, 0.23, 0.25 employed. when id="M4"> 0.25, maximum can be achieved. However, flowability decreases increase id="M5"> value. Third, an empirical calculation optimal content light id="M6"> size proposed.
